Human Resource is a support function for most organizations, apart from those who are service providers of HR services. Even though it’s a support function, but if not managed effectively can prove to be fatal for any organization, as a great organization is made by great human resource, so this department is responsible right from hiring the best to retaining them, and even take care of a smooth exit, so that, the exiting employee leaves at a good note and spreads good words about the organization.
The talent requirement varies slightly from one industry to another. The area of knowledge required for human resource management is talent acquisition, Business HR or SBU HR / Plant HR (IR), Compensation & Benefits Management, Corporate HR (Policy Management).
